The James Lind Alliance (JLA) is a non-profit making initiative established in 2004. It brings patients, carers and clinicians together in Priority Setting Partnerships (PSPs) to identify and prioritise the Top 10 unanswered questions or evidence uncertainties that they agree are the most important.
Myelopathy.org is a non-profit organisation founded to raise awareness of degenerative cervical myelopathy and support patients, carers and professionals who live and deal with it.
Our objectives are to: 1) Provide an educational resource for patients, carers and professionals, 2) Develop a support community for patients and carers, 3)To become a catalyst for promoting advancements in care and management for patients with DCM
The NIHR was established in 2006 under the government’s health research strategy, Best Research for Best Health. By connecting universities, the NHS, local government, other research funders, patients and the public, we deliver and enable world-class research that shapes policy, strengthens the health and care system, drives economic growth, advances science for national and international benefit, and improves lives.
